My education and training exposed me to a diverse range of people and backgrounds. While earning my Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, I trained at the Family Life Center and with the Alamo Heights ISD via the Sunshine Cottage Mainstream Program in San Antonio, Texas. Both sites allowed me to utilize the Emotion Focused Therapy model to serve adult and adolescent individuals, couples and families. I treated issues related to anxiety, depression, communication problems, behavioral concerns and social adjustments. In 2013, I moved back to Austin and continued this work at Tejas Family Guidance Center for one year before moving into my own private practice.
